What to include in a tip
The more specific, the better. Only share what you actually observed.
- Exact location (address, cross streets, business name)
- Date and time you observed the situation
- Vehicle description and license plate, if visible
- Physical descriptions of the people involved
- What made the situation feel suspicious
- Any photos you already have — do not take new ones at the scene
- Never attempt to rescue or confront
- Never share the tip on social media
